Baby's First Christmas!

We were so excited for Christmas this year. Giuliano and I said that we had no idea how special Christmas was until we had our beautiful little girl to share it with.
She had such a great day opening presents and being spoiled rotten!

Discovering Christmas Lights

Amelia is so curious about everything! She discovered the Christmas lights as we were decorating our tree, and she thought they were the greatest thing! I couldn't help but take a ton of pictures of it. Here are 3 of my favorites!

A Week of Firsts!

Well, it's been a very busy week for little Miss Amelia! She had her first cold last week, which was no fun! She was so miserable. She also cut her first 2 teeth! One right after the other! So she now has 2 little chompers on the bottom!
Of course, she had her very first Thanksgiving, which was great!! We are so thankful for our beautiful daughter! At Thanksgiving, she tried some table foods. She had mashed potatoes and fresh squash...she didn't really like either one! it is the first time she has ever gagged on food!! I think the consistency was a bit too much for her. We'll try again in a few weeks.
Another first....she FINALLY rolled over from her back to her belly! We have been waiting for her to do that for months now, and just one day it clicked! Now she is rolling all over the place! There's no stopping her now!
And the last of her firsts.....she is now saying "DA DA" which has her daddy beaming from ear to ear! He is so proud of his little girl!
Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of all of her firsts soon.

This is how Amelia likes to sleep now. I have tried moving her back to the middle of her crib, but she finds her way back into the corner!

Tutu Cute!!

Amelia in her first tutu! I made it myself...completely by hand!! no sewing machine used here! I love the way it came out!

Happy Halloween!

Amelia had a great first Halloween! We went to O'ma and Papa's house, then to Nonna and Nonno's house, and her Zio and Zia were there, then off to Uncle Philip's, and finished it off at her friend Sammy's house for trick or treating in his neighborhood! She was exhausted by the end of the day and fell right to sleep when I put her to bed!

I'm 6 Months Old!

Time flies! I can't believe that our little girl is 1/2 a year old already. She is growing up so fast and changing everyday.

We had her 6 months pictures taken, and this is one of our favorites. It was such a tough decision becuase they all came out great!

Amelia got her ears pierced today! Just when we thought she couldn't get any cuter.....

She was so good about getting it done. She only cried for a minute. I think she hated being held still more than the actual piercing!

Amelia in the field

We took Amelia to a field to get some Halloween shots...after Halloween, I will post her costume pictures, but these are what we took before we got her costume on her. She loved sitting in the grass, and it was hard to get her attention away from it!

I can sit on my own!

Amelia all of a sudden figured out how to sit up on her own. She can now sit for 15-20 minutes with no support and play with her toys!

These are a few of my favorite things

Amelia is an expert raspberry blower! She is constantly soaked from all the spitting. She thinks that it is the funniest thing she could ever do!



Amelia has also learned that her feet are pretty tasty!! Whenever she can, she gets those piggies in her mouth and she will sometimes suck on her big toe. It has made diaper changing pretty difficult!

I'm 5 Months Old!

She is growing up so fast! We have started adding veggies to Amelia's diet, and we started with sweet potatoes. She wasn't so sure about them at first, but she loves them now!
